The Elmina Valley 1 Resident Association (EV1RA) community is more than just a group of people who live in the same area. It’s a family that cares for each other, a team that works together, and a network that connects you to the world while respecting each person’s different aspects regardless of religion, culture, profession, hobbies, or social causes.

As part of Elmina Valley 1 Resident Association (EV1RA), we strive to push our community to excel in these 4 key areas:

• Sense of belonging, identity, and connection with others.
  To make new friends, learn from different perspectives, and support each other in need.
• Improve physical and mental health.
  To have unrestricted access to local resources and services, such as grocery stores, childcare, schools, parks, and recreational facilities. The community can also propose and participate in activities that promote healthier lifestyles, such as walking, gardening, sports, or volunteering.
• Enhance safety and security.
  To deter and prevent crime and violence by watching out for each other, reporting suspicious activities, and working alongside our appointed neighbourhood security. You can also prepare for emergencies and disasters by sharing information, resources, and plans.
• Increase civic engagement and social responsibility.
  To have a voice and influence in local issues and decisions that affect the neighbourhood. To be able to contribute to the common good by donating, recycling, voting, or advocating for causes you care about.
